GI Military Surplus.com LLC was a small internet startup company that collected military surplus and military products in the 1990's. One day we received a registered letter from the U.S. S.O.S. requiring us to register as an International Transport in Arms Regulated (ITAR) business. We registered with the proper agencies and the business began to grow. Stone House Drones was born out of the original business formation known as "Spec Ops Needs" aka "SON" and we've been flying ever since. We like to say that we built our Stone House on "THE ROCK" and we grew and nurtured our business because of the "SON". We like to have a little religious reference in our framework because through Him all things are possible. We learned that from the first company we ever contracted with which was a woman owned, family operated, Christian based company in Alabama known as ATAP. ATAP stands for "All Things Are Possible..." to those that trust The Lord. Thanks for the wonderful example that company set.

Jason Holt started The Stone House Drone Institute after years as a Commercial Pilot and Defense Trade Contractor. The Institute was his brain child and along with a friend he began work building the company. His brother also inspired him by performing the first commercial drone flight on a nuclear reactor. Tracey O'Neil was a former boss of Jason's and he gave fantastic business advice until he fell ill and had to leave the working world. Jason continues to grow the Institute with close friends and business partners who have helped expand the research and development of specialized fire fighting drones as well as the search and rescue side of the company. Today the company has some of the greatest industry leaders helping grow and refine different areas of the drone world and soon the first 100% effective anti-drone systems will be in production to help protect US assets as well as US citizens visiting large venues around the country.
